Information on the records of past presidents is available through the National Archives. A listing of presidential libraries and a searchable database are maintained through NARA.
The Association of Centers for the Study of Congress unites centers across the country to promote the advanced study of Congress. Through its membership directory you can access information on centers across the country.
The records of individual members of Congress are archived in libraries throughout the country. To find a particular collection access the Congressional Biographical Directory, search for an individual member, and then click on “research collections” (if the link is active you will find out where the records of that member are located).
